Xiaomi launches its yet another smartphone in India, 3 months after its launch in China. The phone is none other than the mighty Redmi 5. Redmi 5 is the upgrade for its predecessor Redmi 4, which was the 2nd best-selling smartphone in the Indian market next to Redmi Note 4 in 2017. Xiaomi had recently launched Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro about which I wrote in my previous blog. Now, it’s high time for Xiaomi to capture the Indian market for yet another year. Xiaomi mostly sells its products in Flash Sales through online portals. Then the uphill task for the buyers is to crack the mystery of the Flash Sales. These Flash Sales remind me of the recent rush for Jio sim cards or the queues in front of banks during the demonetization. Now, let us come to the Redmi 5 again.
