Asus launches the new Zenfone Max Pro M1

Asus launched its new mid-range smartphone Zenfone Max Pro M1 on 23rd April 2018, which is focused mainly on the Indian market and is going to give a tough competition to brands like Xiaomi, Samsung etc. The phone will be priced around Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro and will prove to be a tough nut to crack for Xiaomi. Asus claims to have conducted a survey of around 2000 Indian customers to decide the specifications for this new phone.

Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with 5.99 inches, 18:9 aspect ratio FHD+ LCD screen, same as that of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. There are a bunch of other similarities between these two phones. Both these have the same Octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor and Adreno 509 GPU.
The biggest advantage is the giant 5000 mAh battery which makes the Zenfone Max Pro M1, one step ahead of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Also, you get Android 8.1 Oreo already installed and a better contrast ratio in the Zenfone Max Pro M1.

This might have given some glimpse of the Zenfone Max Pro M1. Another very important feature in this phone is that Asus has provided a dedicated SIM slot instead of the hybrid SIM slot. You can put both the SIM cards and the Micro-SD card at the same time. There is one very innovative thing called the Max-box provided with the Zenfone Max Pro M1, on which you put your phone and the Speaker volume gets amplified to some extent.
Zenfone Max Pro M1 has some better features to offer than the Redmi Note 5 Pro at a lower price. This makes the Zenfone Max Pro M1, a Redmi Note 5 Pro Killer.
